A word on the origin of name Leqo: It is an Oceanic reconstructed word that stands for language, voice, speak, word, etc. with regional Pacific cognates such as Leo, Lio, Leʻo, Reʻo, Reko, etc. that can be traced back all the way to Malaysia with terms such as keleŋkoŋ, kereŋkoŋ, ruŋkuŋ, etc., which refer to the throat itself.
